The BXT2-32 is a battery powered strapping tool that is ideal for heavy duty strapping and largely used in lumber and heavy steel and metal industries. This is a fully automatic combination strapping tool from Signode and very popular for its efficiency in the industries it is being used.
The BXT2-32 is powered by a 36V lithium ion battery from Bosch and it is perfect to use with 1” and 1 ¼” PET strapping and it gives a great joint efficiency of 75%. As with most other battery operated tools, this tool also comes with two batteries and a charger. This is a very flexible tool and can be run both by manual or automatic mode. While the manual mode has a tension button, weld and cut button, the automatic mode, can preset tension and weld and cut at the touch of a button automatically.
This tool is similar to smaller strapping tools where the tension button is toggled and the feedwheel pulls until the button is released. However, many prefer the automatic mode as the tool works mostly on its own and the process becomes really simple. The tool is preset to the tension required and the tool automatically pulls tension, welds and cuts.
